MAKÜ, at Burdur Promotion Days, showcases its production power and scientific accumulation

Under the auspices of the Burdur Governorship, the "Burdur Promotion Days" opened its doors to visitors in the capital. The event, held at Altındağ Millet Bahçesi between April 16-19, 2026, brings Burdur's rich cultural heritage and local values to the people of Ankara.

During the four-day event, Burdur's historical texture, natural beauties, and unique flavors are being promoted in a wide range. At the stands where districts are individually represented, visitors have the opportunity to get to know Burdur closely and spend enjoyable time with various cultural activities.

One of the most striking points of the event was the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) stand. At the stand reflecting the university's academic accumulation and production power; many products from dairy and dairy products to varieties of sausage, boviral sprays developed for animal health, ointments, and creams were presented to the visitors. Additionally, spirulina, one of the natural products that have attracted attention recently, and cosmetic products produced by MAKÜ KOZAM were among the products introduced.

The MAKÜ stand attracted great interest from bureaucrats, members of parliament, and many citizens, especially Burdur residents living in Ankara. Those who visited the stand had the opportunity to closely examine the university's both scientific and production-oriented works.

MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, who made statements at the event, expressed his satisfaction with the interest shown and said:

“Our stand is receiving great interest. One of the most important gains of this fair for us was the opportunity to meet our valuable fellow citizens living in Ankara. In this respect, I find the fair particularly valuable. We will continue to host our visitors here and promote our university in the best way until Saturday. So far, the process is progressing quite efficiently. I thank everyone who contributed.”
